Maren Rincon
January's Swimmer of the Month
Maren Rincon is a sophomore at Basha High school and has been in the Gold group with RIO for the past 2 years. She qualified for the high school state meet in the 200 Freestyle (finishing 24th) and the 500 free (finishing 12th) this year. Maren had 100% practice attendance in December and holds a 4.2 GPA. She has high goals and makes her time management skills a priority to get it all done in winning fashion.
Coach Mike says, "I expect to see great things from Maren in the coming months as we approach Senior State, but no one expects more out of Maren than herself. She has a wonderful attitude and a great work ethic, and always keeps her goals in mind with everything she does. I look forward to her continuing to reap the rewards of all her hard work!"
