Click on the "Pre-Registration" button in the upper right corner of the screen. Complete your pre-registration and in the comment box please type in your group level + your start date + practice location.
Once the pre-registration is complete please call our office to complete your registration. If we don’t hear from you right away we will contact you within one business day to confirm enrollment and payment details.
Snorkels, Kick Boards, Paddles, Fins, Equipment Bags and More
Our club has two separate color schemes. Our classic team colors are navy and white. However, we also use black and neon green together as well.
Required to have the standard black sweat shirt and pants with neon green logo, at least two RIO t-shirts, and a pair of RIO shorts. The team suit and cap (caps are optional) must be worn at all swim meets. Performance suits may only be worn at prelim/final swim meets.
Required to wear the team suit and/or team cap at all swim meets. All other team apparel is encouraged but still optional.

THE COMPETITIVE TEAM is designed for the serious competitive swimmer. There are performance requirements and a certain level of commitment required to train with this portion of our team. Below you will find links to the different group levels associated with this portion of our team. Please note, Competitive Squad group advancements will only be conducted in April, June, August, and December each year.
For swimmers with a minimum of one Northwest Sectional time standard qualify for this group and 3 or more Gold time standards. Females must be at least 12 years of age and males must be at least 13 years of age. Coach approval required. Swimmers must be committed to practice attendance and meets as recommended by their coach.
Qualifying Group Time Standards
11 & older female and 12 & older male swimmers will qualify with a minimum of four Gold Group qualifying time standards one of which being a distance of 200 or greater. Swimmers must be committed to practice attendance and meets as recommended by their coach.
Qualifying Group Time Standards
Experienced swimmers 14 years or older (or entering high school freshman year) automatically qualify for this group. 11 & older swimmers will qualify with a minimum of four Silver Group qualifying time standards with a minimum of one of these cuts being of a race distance of 200 yards or greater. Swimmers must be committed to practice attendance and meets as recommended by their coach.

Swimmers must qualifying based on the Bronze Group time standards which are age based.

THE PRE-COMPETITIVE TEAM is designed for those swimmers who are new to the sport, currently developing their skills, or who are not ready to give a full commitment to the Competitive Division. This program will not only develop the fundamental skills necessary to be a great swimmer but also educate both parents and swimmers of the full commitment required to be a highly competitive swimmer. It can also offer a place for kids to excel in multiple sports and/or other activities without having to drop out of swimming altogether.
For swimmers 13 years and older who are working to become smoother and more efficient in the water. These swimmers are most likely not college bound swimmers but are focused on furthering their skills for successful high school swimming careers. This is also a great environment for multi sport athletes, working teens, or those heavily involved in academics or other activities. This group is offered November through July each year. No practices are offered during the high school swim season (August through October).
For swimmers 13 years and younger that can perform all four strokes, starts, and turns proficiently and by legal USA Swimming standards. Swimmers must also be prepared for 1.5 hours of training.
Practices are offered 4 to 5 days per week (depending on the location) and swimmers are welcome to attend any three practices offered. Meet attendance is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
For swimmers that can perform all four strokes by legal USA Swimming standards and do a flip turn with a streamlined push off the wall. Practices are one hour in length.
For swimmers that can perform the very basics of all four strokes. Practices are one hour in length.
