WHAT IS SUMMER SWIM TEAM?
Summer Swim Team is an extension of the RIO Swim Club (EVO’s competitive swim club) and is designed for children of all ages that can swim across a 25 yard pool. A perfect opportunity for kids to get introduced to competitive swimming at an entry level.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED, however, we do require a quick evaluation of skills if your child is not coming directly from our “Porpoise or Dolphin” stroke lesson levels.
Practices are conducted in the width of our outdoor pools (18 yards across).
WHEN DOES ENROLLMENT OPEN?
Enrollment begins May 1st!
WHEN DOES SUMMER SWIM TEAM START?
Practices will begin Tuesday, June 1st and continue for eight weeks. Our season will end with our season finale meet on Saturday, July 24th.
LOCATIONS & PRACTICE TIMES:
(can swim 1x, 2x, or 3x per week)
EVO SanTan Gilbert Location:
> M-Th 9:00-10:00 a.m.
> M-Th 10:00-11:00 a.m. (pending full enrollments at 9:00 a.m.)
> T/Th 2:45-3:45 p.m.
EVO Mesa/Gilbert Location:
> M/W 2:45-3:45 p.m.
TUITION & MEET ENTRY FEES:
> $75 per month for 1x per week
> $125 per month for 2x per week
> $150 per month for 3x per week
> $20 for each swim meet you chose to attend (meets are optional)
> $25 once annual insurance fee per child ($35 for a whole family)
> Tuition can be calculated by the week to accommodate children being absent for more than 1 week at a time
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
> rubber fins at every practice
> team suit and/or team cap (if you attend any swim meets)
> goggles
> all items available for purchase at both locations
